Excess calcium ?

AS420
AS420started grow question 3 years ago
Hi, the young top leaves are starting to have a yellow tip, I guess this is a potassium deficiency due to an excess of calcium in my watering water that is hard and I add extra calgreen and the fact that I water with fertilizer 2/3. Could you confirm the problem ?

If you've got hard water AND you're adding extra nutes, I would think your thinking is correct... the question is why did you feel the need to add it? Your grow looks wonderful so far, I'd stop fiddling around with adding extra anything unless you're trying to solve a problem... There are some excellent foliar sprays on the market (FOOP being one - and no, I have no stake in that company! LOL!) if you feel the need to punch things up a bit but I'd get back to the normal NPK feedings if this was my grow. You really don't have anything to worry about! Good luck!

IMHO it is your light is too close to plant. My Goldleaf did same. I backed off light a half inch and it seems to stopped.

Instead of adding a specific nutrient which could do harm if we misdiagnose or overdose, maybe amend a little bit of general compose (GAIA Green 444) into the top soil to supplement overall micro nutrient is a nice soft boost.

Yes a potassium issue and looks like you need more magnesium. Hope that helps.
