Once I get a sprout in these pellets how do I transplant them just the whole pellets or do I need to cut the outer shell holding all the peat in before moving to bigger pot ?

i used jiffys on the last grow and planted aie right away. the fils don't bother. the roots break through

I haven’t used them in years.. I’m gonna go against these answers and say I’d probably cut it open just to be sure no root growth is restricted. As long as no roots have penetrated it yet, it’s not gonna do any damage.

Just place the pellet in the soil. Use a mycorrhizae powder if you have it!

Dead seedling?Seedling 9 days since planting. Germinated directly in peat pellet. Sprouted after 4 days. Seed coat became stuck and I had to remove with tweezers. Now the cotyledons aren't developing and it looks a bit moldy at the top. Looked like this for the last 3 days. Thoughts?

Pellet germination info I'm germinating 2 seeds in Jiffy pellets indoors, Bubba Kush - 4 days Pineapple Express auto - 3 days no progress from either so far. They were in my tent lights off temp 20-22, moved yesterday to spot with 25, have kept moist no sitting water. Am i just being impatient? 🤣😂

Need rapid rooter germination help.Started 5 seeds pointy side up in rapid rooters outside 5 days ago and still none have sprouted above the pods. Outside temps high 90F low 75F. Peeked inside and can see 1 seeds taproot so it might be upside down. Chance these are OK? Or should I give up and try new seeds inside?

Germination error I've made an error while germinating my beans. I've mixed CANNA rhizotonic at a ratio of 4ml per 500 ml of water by mistake. Soaked the coco pellets and left them In the proprgator. I use half the ratio. Are they doomed? What should I do? Thanks
