What do you guys count as day 1 of flower, the flip to 12-12 or the first pistils comin in?

I ask because I wanna make sure I'm counting accurately for the timing of the flush. My GSC took 2 weeks of 12-12 before showing pistils so is that actually 2 weeks of flower or does 8-10 weeks of flower start from the first pistils?

When one switches to 12/12 the plant itself is still switching to flowering mode so the days in between the first sign if flowering should not count. Once flowering signs have begun then the count should start. That could take 10-15 days to show.

Hi there! Firstly, for me, the day I see first pistil would be the first day of flowering. Secondly, flushing or not flushing is very debatable. But if you want to flush,You might not accurately know when to flush by counting weeks. You can know more accurately by checking trichomes colour. Here’s my harvest window. If trichomes are mostly milky/cloudy about 80/90 % and fill with some amber colour, it’s the time. For me, I would start flushing during that time.Happy Growing... ✌️

the 1st day of flower is when you see pistil clusters, so you would start counting days from when you saw the first pistils not from when you switched the light.
