Led mounted on side wall instead of top

So I'm thinking about to build a pc grow box, just for seedlings. When they start to be bigger I'll move them to bigger grow box. I have a spare grow light but it's to wide to mount in top of grow box. So I was wondering if I could mount it on the side wall?

You could,it will only stretch for the light so keep it close and keep turning it and it shouldn't be an issue. If it does stretch a little just plant it up higher.Get some more dirt/coco/stones/rockwool in there.

just an idea : you can get 22W LED strips that should be easy to handle. Hope this helps ! 🚀

If you do, your plants will grow sideways, toward the light.

If you do mount on the side you could flip it than the side would be the top.

You could I wouldn't. I would use something that it would fit in or on top of. I use an old dresser I cut the top open and my lights sit on the top. Lights not in the box. You could use almost anything that fits the needs of your seeds and light.
