you dont really need to because if you're growing in a grow box there's enough reflection so that where you see shadows it's probably quite bright when you close the box. Does that make sense? Hope this helps ! 🚀

No, your plant is relying on every leaf to produce the energy it needs to grow her biggest and best flowers. Reducing the leaves will lower energy production, which then leads to slower/smaller growth. This is basic plant biology 101. The "blocked bud sites" are relying on those leaves to produce the energy they need to grow. The small bud/branch leaves can in no way produce as much energy as even just one fan leaf. Cannabis will grow her fastest and largest with all healthy green leaves left in place to make maximum energy for maximum growth and maximum health. Some well considered "lollipopping" however will reduce the amount of small shitty buds come harvest time. Besides, the "shaded potential bud sites" (branches) will in 2-5 days, grow out from underneath the big energy producing fan leaves anyhow, making the removal of the fan leaves pointless. Cannabis has evolved to be able to grow her biggest and best flowers. Getting rid of perfectly healthy green leaves for no apparent benefit or reason, is not part of this evolutionary process. Try to only remove yellow leaves, for by the time they are yellow, they have served their purpose. Hope this helps,....... Organoman.

Hi there, not recommend to defoliate if there isn’t a good reason to do.Like do some defoliation to lower down tent humidity,to make a good air flow if too bushy.Defoliate some leaves If they are damaged or shaded below the canopy.May be some lollipopping if there are too many popcorn buds underneath.Other than those, shouldn’t do.Those fan leaves are acted like extra sources of energy for plants. Only recommend to defoliate at the start of flowering circle and again at 3rd week of flower or at the end of stretching period. At that time, you will know which one to remove and which one to leave.Happy growing... ✌️

Yeah you should do some defoliation on these ladies, they look pretty bushy, anytime mine begins to look like this I give them a trim, and all I grow is autos from experience it seems to be very beneficial to them without causing stress.
