at what point would you say an auto flower isn't gonna auto flower? At what point would you flip lights? I don't have a problem flipping just need some reassurance. another grow in the same tent is in week 4 so flipping now wouldn't hurt too bad.

Hi @Ol_Greg! I would flip to 12/12 if the breeder's schedule is exceeded while the plant is still in veg. That being said, I think you still have a few weeks to go through the vegetative stage, you did stunt the plant each time you proceeded to topping/defoliation, a simple topping takes approximately 7~10 days to properly recover, so don't worry yet and let her recover before she decides to bloom. If nothing happens in 2-3 weeks, you may consider flipping to 12/12. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

hey man loads of different reasons why autos take their time to flower, namely nutes, temps, lights, and stress... or a combination, one thing you know for sure though is that autos will flower and I'm sure yours will benefit from the extra veg. good luck crossing the finish line ! 🚀

Late to the party... as per what Athos says, stress will delay the onset of flowering. At least that is what i've seen with mine (a mistake early on caused some stunting) who have kicked into flowering maybe a week later than expected, but are flourishing under 19 hours of light

Hello! Well the Lucas formula is powerful enough to induce flowering on a plant that is ready so switch to a 12/12 light schedule to see if flowering depends on the amount of light a day but you probably extend your flowering/growing cycle with too many manipulation / stress. I hope it will (start to) help you 😁👍

Topping / defoliating and any high stress training will delay the flowering in autos. Let it recover and it should flower. Under normal circunstancia, an auto will begin flowering phase once it deploys it's 5th pair of leaves fully

h i know why they dont flower.... You stripped them ... so she takes all the power she has to make new leaves..... ond no flowers.......Most automatics like it to be treaten like an automatic.... no stress .... no topping just LST and picking some leaves......It seems she is one of these . Normally an automatic shows preflowers/ flower between week 4 and 6...... Mabe give her one day in darkness to push her or wait until your others are big enough to flip. Hope she has more than 10 week in her genetic Hourglass
