you should always wait for the plant to be ready some trichomes will actually rippen after harvest but basically you want all cloudy no transparent no amber at the cut time, some will turn amber most wont, and it will have reached max potency, you'll be disappointed if you cut now believe me. some breeders have the times it takes for hydro or coco in perfect conditions so it's quicker, some count only after seedling stage.... so, trust your eyes and your microscope not a shady salesman that's my advice. Just be patient, and that's it i'm afraid, just be advised that some genetics are known to turn almost overnight, so you could go from 0 to 100 quickly just be dilligent. Hope this helps ! 🚀

If all the pistils are brown, time to harvest. Your plant has now passed its peak of THC quality and this example shows how judging maturity by trichome colour alone is not the whole answer. Some strains will NEVER get amber trichomes, so waiting for them could mean a half dead plant, before harvesting at the last minute out of panic that the plant will be dead soon, so I better harvest now, before she IS dead. At this late stage most THC has broken down into CBD and CBN, meaning there will be a reduced "high" effect and an increased "stone/sleepy" effect due to the elevated CBD and CBN levels and the reduction of the THC level. Hope this helps and harvest away! , .......... Organoman.

I wouldn't harvest her quite yet if the trichomes are still transparent. Buds are ready to harvest when hairs have darkened and curled in, revealing the solid bud underneath. Harvest buds on the early side for more of an “up” mental/psychoactive effect (trichome heads appear milky white under a magnifier). If buds are allowed to continue maturing, the white trichomes begin to turn amber/golden. The greater the number of amber trichomes, the more buds produce a “down” body/couchlock effect.

Hi there, here’s my rule of thumb for harvesting period.During that time, the leaves will show deficiencies, yellowing and most of the white pistils become orange. The best method is using 60x microscope and check trichomes colour. If trichomes are mostly milky/cloudy about 80/90 % and fill with some amber colour, it’s the time to harvest.Flushing or not flushing is your choice.Happy growing... ✌️

If your plant was stressed at all during its life it will throw your "should be ready" time out the window. No worries though, its always best to harvest based on trichome color. Sounds like you already know what to look for, now its just a matter of time and checking them trichomes daily till you get the cloudy/amber ratio you are looking for.🌱✌️🏼
