Rain Water for my plants?

I have well water thats treated so I don't give my plants that. I buy spring water, getting costly. Is setting up a rain barrel a good idea to collect water for my plants?

Yes, plants have been using rain water for millions of years, and depending on where you live, is very pure and without microbes and ideal for your plants. Not sure where Bulbi lives, but if his rainwater is 5.5 and full of microbes, I would be staying far, far away from wherever he lives! Hope this helps,............ Organoman.

hey there Zeadikuss, rain water and dirty water in general is great for plants. just remember : the pH of rain water is 5.5 , and careful you dont get undesirable microbes in there . To make sure try adding beneficial bacteria to your rain water, or bubble it for a few hours or up to a day. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Yes rain water would work perfect just remember to p.h your water and if using tap water allow 24 hours for chlorine to evaporate out
