Well, 2 months ago I have already told about the Anaconda Seeds stuff and blessed them for having this low profile marketing, 'cause I am already on the 6th week of flowering and both of strains that I have choose to grow are simply unbelievable. Great stability on genetics and a great quality both on the yield that's coming and the terpenes and resin as well. As you can see, only I and few other guys have grown Anaconda Seeds strains and both Anaconda feminised and the classic feminised White Widow are top quality grows. First with good lights and good nutrients, both of strains that they've announced to be high yielding material, ...they are really heavy yielding material and I invite you to check the last photos on flowering stage and they are fully covered on buds and high quality buds - dense, amazing aroma and top quality stuff (the terpenes are unique and the amount of resin is truly incredible). It is clear to me that they have a fantastic philosophy as seed's bank. They use a page (.org) so they have a institutional appearance. Very low profile marketing, despite very beautiful boxes to wholesale and the protection to seeds is guaranteed by some isolation orange foam and a perfectly sealed plastic beaker. They doesn't invest heavily on marketing and as I told probably they invest on the most important aspects of cannabis business - the genetics and the quality of their strains. My biggest impression is that the strains are amazingly well developed. It is simple to see the way that they are stable and during the hole cycle I wasn't capable to get defects on the grows. Sometimes when we start to see strange leaf forms, undeveloped stems or incongruent reactions when changing from veg to flowering phase, so it is very easy to check that the work of getting complete formed generations . So Anaconda Seeds is in my opinion an apex on cannabis developing. Probably due to be a bank that only work with not more than 10 photoperiod strains and due to this they focus on perfectioning this strains, instead of some "Sharky" banks that launch six new strains a year and that need of "putting on market" new strains, mostly and even with a great structure, doesn't give time to get stability on some strains and the secret to have amazing strains is the time to choose, maintain and develop the best parentals characteristics. Normally I have this kind of discussion with some grower mates and about the "commercial giant" banks, that almost each year in order to sell, put on market more than great cannabis pieces, some material that isn't more than recollection of colorful buds on a page and some are more a kind of "fast food cannabis" photos than properly top class cannabis. For instance I know lots of banks that have their particular White Widow offers and I know a couple that are simply over crossing material between White Widow generations that already are very far away of the original strains that once in early 90's were the basis for the first type of White Widow material that literally blow people's mind on Netherlands coffee shops. The way that the Anaconda Seeds White Widow develop its buds is very similar to the original White Widow strains few years ago. I notice that the White Widow as a very particular flowering process...the calix structure instead of been some little leafs raising along the growth of the pistils during last weeks of flowering phase is formed on the first kinds of White Widow's by the growth of pistils, terpene and resin glands, between the node spaces of the short leafs that normally a White Widow raise even on the last days of vegetative phase and by this characteristic it is so important to have this short leafs, cause during the flowering process the small leafs get covered on "sugar" and that is the reason that White Widow is mainly white and covered in sugar, cause these "primary" small leafs are actively part of the buds. Probably is one of the only strains that normally I don't trimm profoundly and mostly I let almost every small leafs on drying process, cause the small leafs have also a large amount of resin...this is a way to get to know how close is the Anaconda Seeds White Widow similar to the first White Widow types that started to be almost the first "star strain" in modern cannabis. I recall that previously of the appearance of the Withe Widow on Netherlands, the cannabis that we have previously was mostly the Sativa strains that were used on hash production in northern Africa and West Asia and White Widow was almost the first strain to join the best of two worlds, South American Sativas and India's Chennai mountains region Indicas...and the first time that I smoked the "Widow" was a complete new world for me...a very powerful and amazingly aromatic kind of "new" weed. After more than 30 years a regular cannabis was in general a very "boring" experience with most of the strains tasting an acrid earthy scent, very close to the Moroccan classic hash and the "widow" brought a whole new experience to me and for most of the weed smokers on those days. So in my opinion Anaconda Seeds does what truly cannabis developers should do more than launch five or six strains each new year and the perfection comes mostly of preserving and get continuous the parentals with better qualities and Anaconda Seeds sure have this philosophy...it is easy to understand this on the growing process.

I starting the Spring season with one of their special, the Anaconda strain and a classic such as White Widow. Fantastic on the sprouting of the seeds and following the reviews of some great friends and growers, the stuff of this bank is simply unique. They maintain the parental strains for a long long time so their genetics are absolutely perfect and they don't stabilize the pheno using successive generations of the specific strains. For instance on the classic White Widow they have true parentals of Brazilian Sativas and India's Chennai mountain regions indicas and using parental generations instead of retro crossing already done F or S lineages of tailor-made White Widow's plants, they offer something such as strains clean of interferences and non desirable caractheristics. Their genetics are unbelievably good (next to genetic perfection) and when they announce that you can get with relative fast process on a square meter tells around 800 to 900 grams indoor, it really represents the average yield that they know that their strains have the potential to achieve. In the case of the White Widow, some mate told me that their cultivars are simply the ones that still have much of the Shantibaba goals on his strain hunting during late 80 and early 90's, so in Anaconda Seeds their purpose is to have much of the pureness that on today's banks are deeply lacking. Plus their prices are very cheap, mostly reflecting that more than having a corporation on bank seeds, they still have the feeling of belonging to the days when cannabis wasn't plainly a big numbers business. In my opinion, their purpose is still have the goal of having healthy cannabis toward the future, instead most of the banks that each year launch a dozen of new strains where the cross and retro cross and don't barely have the time stabilize strains (most want THC bombs, lacking of another cannabinoids to get entourage effect; sparing on the development of true terpenes and trying to get mass business the more than they can get and that's why sometimes in some grows we get crazy phenos; plants that are miles away of the things that they announce and poor genetic and smoking material). In the custom breeders banks there are still a originality that lacks on the big bank seeds and a sense of belonging as growers to a special casta that thrives towards the future of the true strains.
