When does everyone start feeding? I’m at just about 2 weeks and she’s doing great so far, with just distilled water in ocean forest soil. I will be using advanced nutrients grow, bloom, and micro. I also purchased Sensi Cal Mag Xtra. Any help is much appreciated! I’m new. Thanks

I have used FFOF and Fox farm nutrients for years. Here is my advice. Since I know you just transplanted from the other thread, you now have 3 or 4 weeks before you should consider feeding her. If you notice slowed growth, then I like Nova1 below, would maybe feed her big bloom or microbe brew or kangaroots or boomerang. At about week 3 or 4 you can begin your regular schedule of feeding, but start at half strength and if she wants more go to full. Hope that helps, I'll follow this and peep in from time to time.

Well since your using ocean forest soil the plant should be could until at least Week 4, because the soil has some nutrients in it. On average though most people start feeding between Weeks 2-4, really depends on the soil your using, and the environment the plant is growing in.

Hi there Franken, In soil you really dont really need to feed the first four weeks, but you'll probably want to repot the plant by then, since you're using amended soil you dont need any NPK. For micronutrients it depends on your light schedule, so if you have an intense one it might be a good thing to add it in or as a spray up to twice a week. If you think she might need nutrients another thing you can do is to use additives instead of NPK to "unlock" the nutrients already in the soil. My favorite additives are enzymes, humic acid and beneficial bacteria or trichoderma harzianium . So when you repot into fresh soil, you probably have a fresh four week period ahead of you before you need to feed again. That might depend on your run off, i just water with plain water no run off... hope this helps ! 🚀
