Hello friends, i have a problem with my runoffph in my coco. Last time that I checked it was at 5.6 but I feeded at 6.3. Today I wanted to arrange that by feeding at 6.5 but the runoff is still at 5.6, I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. My plants are not growing anymore.SOS
Solved

Coco does not buffer the pH of nutrient solution as effectively as soil and therefore it is critical to set the pH of the nutrient solution inflow within the range of 5.5 to 6.5. Because different nutrients are soluble at different pH, it is best to allow the pH to drift up and down within the range on successive fertigation events. During the majority of the grow your inflow pH should fluctuate around an average of 5.9. However, during the seedling and ripening phases it is best to target somewhat higher in the range (6.1-6.3).

They are not growing because you have them in totally inadequately sized tiny cups. At this size, they will already be root bound in those tiny cups. Black plastic pots about 4 inches across and 5 inches deep are almost ideal for the first 3 weeks of a seedlings life. If looked after and cleaned between grows, the black plastic pots will last for years and also provide the totally dark conditions vital for root development. Also, your seedlings do not need to be covered or have artificially heightened humidity, they need good air exchange for proper growth and good air circulation for strong stems. Hope this helps,.......... Organoman.

Dropping pH in runoff is often due to overfeeding. Test your EC in the runoff, I'd be willing to bet that it's a lot higher coming out.

Dont worry over PH runoff in coco DTW I assume. You can check PPM it has some meaning but PH is not useful on outgoing.
