Once they pop u can remove from the water. I then use the wet paper towel method until the tap root is around 1 inch . Then straight into the soil. I find this is the fastest way to get them going.

Hi fella, I think what @padergrow is trying to state is that roots require oxygen to, unless at night where they prefer c02 but that is another kettle of fish!! We put seeds in water to help 'soften' the shell to increase germination success, if you see a tap route 1/2 to an inch long then get the seed in the pot and nurture her, hope this helps, sorry to but in on your reply @padergrow

Guten Abend, nein musst du nicht. Ich lasse sie immer so ca 12 Std im Wasser. Du musst sie gar nicht ins Wasser packen. Die werden auch nur zwischen Taschentüchern keimen! Geht beides. Sobald die Schale offen ist kannst du sie in Tüchern packen. Hoffe konnte dir etwas helfen.

Hi fella, if the tap root is starting to show, you can remove the bean from the water and let her flourish!! I generally do 24 in water 12 in tissue, this gives me a tap root about an inch long, plant it and nurture it, enjoy the rewards!!! Happy Growing 👍
