Help with root containment - How would you solve or battle this?The roots grow through the net bucket and a mesh net I use for containment. Micron size too big, roots grew through. The mesh bag was a 2nd attempt at root containment. 3rd attempt will be very fine micron mesh screen. What could be a good way to deal with this?Week 13

Mold on roots, seedlingI have a fat banana auto, in a 1.5 l put cut out bottom because I'm planing on transplanting it to bigger pot as soon as my other auto finished off. (About 2 more weeks) . Why should the tap root grow for some days before potting?Not a problem, but I'm eager to learn: Most tutorials recommend to let the tap root grow to about 2.5 cm before potting. Does anybody have a rationale for that? To me this sounds counter-productive (light protection for roots, correct orientation of seed). What am I missing?Week 1

Root loss shock?Can I do anything?! I had her in with another seedling for the 1st 14 days and when I went to transplant them into their own pots their roots were completely entwined around each other. I tried to separate them but a good chunk of roots came away. They have both wilted badly!Week 2

Super low runoff PH, even after corrective measures being taken. Plant otherwise okay, but probably isn't taking all her nutrients.My runoff PH has been hitting mid-5s, even after flushing (w/ & w/o additive). Been trying to raise with higher PH water, used 7.25PH water today and the runoff was still 5.56. She looks healthy other than some discoloration in some leaves, so it isn't killing her but.....????6y ago

Tap root surfacedHello
I have zero experience in growing cannabis. I germinated 2 autoflowers and both popped but, one tap root grew upwards. As soon as I noticed it I reposition it as carefully and easily as possible.Being an autoflower does it even have a chance. Posted pic on diary.

WaThis is what your roots should look like if your growing hydroponics in DWC or RDWC, if you do it properly. I found it to be a lot of work even with the chiller, cleaning the buckets out once every week or 2. Any products available now to keep things clean? Without harming plantsWeek 6

Can you please tell me if the sides need to be covered with earth?When I covered the soil in the beginning it wasn't like that, but after waterings the soil shrunk and now there is space between the pot fabric and the soil. Should I add more soil to avoid root problems? And also the water drains down there and quickly runs downhill 😞9mo ago
