Roots growing out of cloth pot

My Purple punch auto roots are growing out the bottom of a 2 gallon cloth pot at 31 days in. Is this a bad thing or a good thing and does it mean I need to transplant?

You're fine. It'll air prune itself. That'll cause the root to branch off, all the way back to the taproot. It's the same idea as the air-pot.

Thirsty look - exposed rootsMy plant has been looking thirsty but I know it isn't a water problem. What size pot for final homeI am ready to transplant this girl. I have a 7 gallon plastic pot or a 30 gal tote from big lots I can drill holes in. Is the 30g overkill considering I only have 2-4 weeks until flower or will a increase in yield make it worth it? It has been in a 5g outdoors for 3 weeks.5y ago
