i was reading grow questions about transplanting, and it seems i may have done it too early - they just sprouted the first node when i transplanted, and theyre small. theyre showing no signs of stress. if I f'ed them up, i'd see it today right? what are the downsides?

Plant will droop, it can stun or slow growth from here out. If you did not mess with roots during transplant you might be fine. Deciding on indoor or out needs to be done. Switching will likely cause problems during your grow due to spectrum and intensity etc. The plants look fine if they continue to grow you did good.

Yeah, you did it a little early but if you had screwed it up, they'd at least be drooping a bit so I think you're good. Congrats... and figure out whether you're going to be doing an indoor or outdoor... this will be crucial when it comes time for decisions about techniques and shape/height of your plants... additionally, as Roberts mentioned, there will be considerable difference in lighting - if you take them from outdoor where they've been enjoying the sunlight for several weeks/months and stick them under lights, they may become stressed and you'll face another set of issues! Good luck!

They will be fine, just don't overwater pot, may take a little longer, may realise they have a big home and grow strong. There's nothing wrong, just have to be more careful, let the edges of pot dry out. Good luck 👍
