PH of soil 7.3, PH of water 6,3-6.7, how come?

For the readers, if there are any, I have a few questions: - Can I still get the PH of the soil to drop? Or has this ship sailed? Is it worrysome, since I always make sure the PH of my feeding-water is about 6,5? Will they take up enough nutrients if the water's PH is OK?

Hey there, runoff PH and soil PH are 2 completely different things. You need a soil tester to check the true soil PH value. Not sure why the runoff PH is that high as usually you have the opposite reading like mine (around 6.0 more acidic). But hey, that’s not a terrible problem to have I wouldn’t say. She looks amazing. Try like a 6.2 when you water next time or if you are worried try to flush with straight water and really let it run off. You should always be loosing at least 20% out of the bottom of the pot when you are feeding nutrients. Overwatering means to frequently not too much at a time allowing for a good wet/dry cycle. Looks like you have done just fine 👍. I would lose any sleep over it buddy! Happy growing and good luck at harvest!

Lower your pH water to 6.0 then as your soil is just very alkaline. You should see a drop in your soil's pH level. if 6.0 isn't enough lower it more.. till your soil is pH'd to where you want it.. It's the soil pH that truly matters.. not the incoming water adjust that to give your soil what it needs.. Happy growing.
