lower the c/f in reservoir to around 1 to 1.2 and then find a balance with water consumption so your c/f does not drift to much. . I used to adjust ph down to 5 on topping up daily. soon climb up to sweet spot and take 24hrs to get too high. As plants get into flowering only then begin to gradually increase dosage of nutes. You must also have plenty of oxygen in your water to get plants off to a good start, it is also advisable to have the water hit the spreader mat with just a trickle, never fast enough for an unbroken stream. With this type of hydroponics you really need a constant ph ec monitor like the growboss from nutradip or a bluelab. The bluelabs, you can get one that has an auto ph adjuster that keeps the ph of your rez stable. Or just get the growboss and adjust the ph as it drifts manually. Feed schedule for your system would be the same as hydroponics. 400 ppm 0.8ec for seedlings. Increase your ppm by 100 every week until you reach around 800ppm 1.6 ec. Happy growing
