My plant started producing pistils last week. I bought it from a friend, he said its Humboldt Seed Company's Banana Mango seed and he said he bought it from the autoflower aisle but the website said Banana Mango is a photoperiod seed. So i go 18/6 light period. Is it auto? :(

Pistils in week number 3/4? It's an auto, I recommend 20 hours of light and 4 of darkness. Given the growth it has, it also makes a lot of sense that it's automatic; I definitely lean towards that. You say you saw on the seed bank's website that it's photoperiod, did you check that there's not the same genetic name in their automatic section? Some banks have genetics with the same name in photoperiod seeds and automatic seeds, which can be a bit confusing the first few times. Cheers!

If it started producing pistils on an 18/6 schedule, then it's almost definitely an auto. Humboldt doesn't sell a banana mango auto, but it could have been a test release or it may just be a different strain or bank.

I buried it in the ground on March 31, it came out the next day. 10 days later i started nutrients. Topping on April 22, two days later started L.S.T. Now its in 4. week/26. day. I was thinking of keeping it in veg for 2-3 more weeks. Should i start 12-12 light period. Or I was wrong from the beginning, it was auto. Pls help.
