I place a wire at the very bottom opposite of the wire that holds down the top. Then you aren't pulling on the roots.

Not quite, you're looking to get about a 75-90 deg. Bend in the plant. Might wait for another set of leaves to go before bending her.

Did I start LST too early?At day 22, did I start LST too early? I feel that I may have stunted the growth a little from overheating, but didn't want to wait too long to start training. Also, would a higher-powered light cause less distance between the nodes, and therefore make LST harder/less effective?4y ago
