My partner just cut some clones off of a pre-flowering plant & put them in a root rain spray cloned. Been 2 days since he cut the clones. No roots yet but he’s wondering if he has spider mites & if so what he should do. Do you all notice anything wrong?
Solved
Leaves. White powder
Other. Bugs
Plant. Stem · Red or purple

In picture 6 it looks lie you have some critters. Hard to tell for sure. If you have a magnifying glass, jewlers loupe, or USB microscope you could tell for certain.

Hey, it seems to have a slight infestation of thrips or maybe mites, I'm not totally sure, I can't see well and I don't have much experience with pests. Still, I would recommend that you research more about these specific pests and determine which one it could be based on the characteristics of your plants. I'm almost sure it's one of those two, don't panic, it seems to be a minor infestation but you should combat it as soon as possible. Look for a product to eliminate them and follow the usage instructions. If I'm not mistaken, you could use neem oil, for example. You should do a bit of research on what the best option is... cheers!
