So I was fixing a problem and found what seem to be beneficial mites? This is my first organic grow and have never dealt with these before. I haven’t notice a overload of them but are they dangerous and will they get worse? Any advice with experience will be much appreciated

There what were larva and will soon be fruit flies. Have you flies in your tent. If so I have a diary of everything I did to get rid of them The Males lay eggs. Then there's larva and then, they turn into that just before they get their wings. I have seen them a loads times. Just in soil i bought and the larva stays dormant if dries out enough and waits for the perfect breeding ground. If you dont have fliers yet. You soon will. Have a look at my diary.

No I haven’t treated my soil. I had a mix made up and “cooking” for a week or so and left it in my grow tent. I transplanted and when I did that’s when I noticed them. I was able to locate some DE that I could get here faster than the Nematodes. I’m down for using whatever I need to, to prevent this from reoccurring. I’ve got a busted tent I’m using just bc it was bigger. I think I’m going to swap back to my newer tent. I highly appreciate all y’all’s advice. Again this is why Grow diaries is the best. Y’all are the true professionals! Thanks again, any advice is much much appreciated. Peace love and grow

Moving a bit to fast to be a mite to me. Mites are slow movers in my experience.

Order some beneficial nematodes from Amazon Nema Globe 817504004249 Pot Popper 4 X 1 Million Beneficial Nematodes (S.Feltiae) https://a.co/d/7kVJ9zV The instructions are on the product, get some yellow sticky traps as well when you order the nematodes, and you can also get some neem oil, with that you should be able to defend against the onslaught before it gets out of hand, if you have amazon prime it all should be there in 2 to 3 days tops and Bob's uncle...Good luck, oh and humidity control and temperature is another way to keep them at bay, lower the humidity but make sure it coincides with the humidity for your VPD down load tent buddy and you can get a pretty good idea where you should be with a lower humidity for your temp on the calculator...

Yes. Your grow is new. You did treat your soil did you. You do this with any all mix or soil that has been left outside in a pallet. Good luck again hope you figure it out. Yellow sticky traps. Then you need to treat your soil..its all in my diary.. But they are not beneficial mites. Just young fruit flies..
