Just a quick one people, I only have a outlet fan in my tent? My tent is 70x70x160cm if I open the bottom vents on my tent would this be enough air for the flowers at later stages if I open a window in the same room to allow fresh air?

In such a small tent opening the door to check daily is enough air exchange and co2 as long as you have a fan blowing air around and an extractor removing old air 👍🌱

Hi mate, like you I grow in a small space. (0.7 x 0.7 x 1.6) x 60 =47.04m3, thats how much air you need to move every min. Look at the rating of your fan and as long as it is about that figure you will be fine. You have to take into account you filter and any other air restriction. I have a 100mm hole feeding my fan. My fan is rated for 160m3/hr and it is @ 75%. I move more air than needed but nothing wrong with that. My filter is rated for 350m3/hr so as not to restrict too much. Temp tent issue Nice! Thanks guys for the quick help! I’m also kinda sort of having a temp issue, I’m trying to make it the best I can, I’m way down south and the temp reads 86-88 a lot. If I blast the fans and humidifier it does get down but I’m worried about the electric bill going up.

Carbon filter / ideal size for my tent.Hi all need info regarding carbon filters. My tents height 200cm , width is 120cm. Have tried to work out but no look. I have 4 plants in it. I need advice on which size to go for. I have tried to calculate myself but no joy. I am advised to get 6" but not sure ?? Thank you

So has anybody used these cordless mini dehumidifiers in their grow rooms? They’re small units that u charge over night every so often when the silica changes colour? My grow room is very small so an electric dehumidifier wouldn’t fit and I’m struggling to keep humidity down

4” filter upgrade help! Smell Hey guys, I’m wondering what is a good recommended 4” filter for my tent? I got one that came with a fan, ducting and the filter off eBay but the filter is the shits. I had it vented in the room but the smell was brutal. It’s vented out the window under my deck, reeks there now.

Smelly room, with filter should I be able to smell flowering buds?I have a 3x3 grow tent with a 4” fan and filter. The filter is in the tent and exhausts into the room. I taped the filter to the line and line to the fan so no pinhole leaks. The fan is rated for 198 cfm. I have it on low because when it’s high the smell is worse.

Temps to high....i think Hi, newbie here, I'm really struggling to keep temps below 30°C. Outside temps are not helping all, i have my extractor on full, air circulation fan on full, both flaps open, shed door even open lol and my light is turned down to 250 watts, which probably isn't high enough!

Fan vs Fanless LEDs How effective are heatsink LEDs? I'm not sure if I should go with fanless (like Mars Hydro SP150) or with a fan (Mars Pro II Epistar 120). RH too low in indoor grow. Solutions?I'm having a issue with my grow - RH won't go above 20%. With a humidifier inside, full power. Temperatures are between 21 and 25c and I can only think the air extractor is taking too much air out of the grow, as in the night, with lights and fan off RH rise to +80%. Any ideas?

condensation issue I have terrible condensation in my tent. My tent is only small 60cm deep 120 wide 150 tall, I have a 6inch desk fan for circulation and a humidifier. I haven't yet I stalled my extractor/filter (awaiting delivery). Will the extractor solve this issue once I install it? Thanks.

couple quick questions Do I need to close the flap to the vent during dark cycles? (Lights off during the day) and should I block lights coming from fan power, humidifier, dehumidifier, or indicator lights? Also do I need to use the carbon filter the whole time? should I ever have the exaust fan off?

High humidity The humidity hit 63% today in my tent for 4 hours while I wasn’t home I had the exhaust fan on full blast and 2 oscillating fans in the tent once I got home I turned my dehumidifier on it’s down to 45% now will it be ok or do I need to watch for bud rot?

Smell at 2.5 weeks?Is it normal for a Quick One to smell strongly at 2.5 weeks? I only have one plant, and moved it out of my bedroom to the spare room where there are fewer clothes. My partner could smell it downstairs and the plant only just got its 5 tipped leaves.
