How long should I leave my air pump on?

Depends on your setup. What are you running? With my rdwc system I keep the air pump on 24h. The more oxygen in the water the less chance for root rot.

Hello. Its good to saturate your water with oxygen once a day first thing in the morning. I would leave it on for 15 to 30 minutes. Chuck.

Carbon filter sleeve needed?I use the carbon filter on the exhaust side. On the intake side, I have a dust screen mesh.
The tent is quite clean so that’s why I don’t see the need of the pre filter. Would also probably load the inline fan a bit too.

Humidity spike?Hi there,
I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine (40-50%) for 70% of the day, but the remaining 30% of the day it spikes up to 60-65%.
Temps stay reasonable in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day.

Controlling environment in closet with no intake fan?I'm growing inside my closet, and I'm having trouble controlling temp/humidity. I have an AC Infinity exhaust fan and a cheap amazon fan + wet towel blowing air in from the outside. Are there any cost-effective ways for me to control this? It can get a little warm/dry sometimes

New grower and high tent temp. please helpSo I have a 2by2 tent and temperature is staying around 80 degrees. I have a total of 3 fans in there and lowered the wattage on my 1000w hydro LED lights. What else can I do to keep it at optimal temperature? Also has a Hydro Co2 booster fan making it 4.

High humidityThe humidity hit 63% today in my tent for 4 hours while I wasn’t home I had the exhaust fan on full blast and 2 oscillating fans in the tent once I got home I turned my dehumidifier on it’s down to 45% now will it be ok or do I need to watch for bud rot?Week 7

Air flow methodI removed the hood from the home AC to run cold air directly into the grow tent with a 4 inch duct at the bottom. I have an inline fan to push hot air out to balance out the air pressure at the top.
Is this a good idea or should I just have a fan inside with no in or out?

Are (constantly) high daytime temperatures a huge problem in flower?My day temperature since turing my light up to max during flower are reaching 29-30c | 84.2 - 86f, while the daytime RH is at roughly 40% - 50%.
Is the high temperature something to be concerned about?
pics 1 and 2 are the exact same data as pics 3 and 4, just set to c/f each.

Now getting condesation in my tent when I've added this duct to a pipe exiting the house? Am near harvest too.Didn't have an issue with condensation inside the tent before, now that I've attached the duct to a pipe going out i'm getting condensation inside... Does the set up look right? I've hooked up to a smaller tent too via a T. Could it be pressure?
