Depends on your setup. What are you running? With my rdwc system I keep the air pump on 24h. The more oxygen in the water the less chance for root rot.

Hello. Its good to saturate your water with oxygen once a day first thing in the morning. I would leave it on for 15 to 30 minutes. Chuck.

Ventilation set up
I just got my first grow tent- a Vivosun 32x32x64 and a Vivosun 4” fan and carbon filter combo. It came with directions for the tent- but nothing on the ventilation system. What’s best as far as set up? Any tips, recommendations, or photos.? Does it need to vent outside?

I made a firebomb?
Is it a fire hazard if 5v computer fan is jammed and the power is on for 2-3 weeks? I'm far away from home and I have camera in my growbox. A tape has fallen to the fan and it is not rotating. Can it heat up so much that fire starts? Should I drive 1600km for that?

Temp/humidity range
What range do you all try to keep your temperature & humidity in. I set my to 70-78 F & 40-60% humidity . I’m using the Govee home Bluetooth therm/humidity meter.

High humidity temporarily
For a few hours yesterday the humidity in my grow space went up to 90%! Should i be on the lookout for any issues? The fan in the tent came loose from the pipe. Thankfully nothing was damaged. Fixed it afterwards.

Please look at the leaves shown, orange and dried parts. I asked a similar question earlier but these look more damaged and I'm wondering if it's worsened due to my setup. Wind damage from fans? Water damage from humidifier? Light or heat damage? Managing VPD is tough. Thanks!

Can't vent exhaust fan outside, is this a problem?
I have my 2x2x4 tent in a closet, with a 4" carbon filter inside the tent and a 4" inline fan outside of the tent, exhausting. But I have no way of directing the air to outside or even out of the room. Will this be a major problem for me? Room is otherwise AC'd via central air.

Low humidity issue
Tents 20'' × 30''. Using a vivosun 6'' inline fan to exhaust with passive intake to create negative pressure. I have a good humidifier but even on full the rh doesnt go above 40%. Not unless the room the tent vents into becomes super humid as well.

Currently using a 4x8 tent in a garage that is dusty. would getting a extra intake be better for my plants?
Currently using a 200mm inline exhaust with a max cfm of 537,96 and using a intake with a max cfm of 194. currently using the exhaust on medium setting so 466 cfm. would it be better for my plants to get more air from outside with a new but small intake of about 128 cfm ?

RH 90% during Flowering!
I have a problem with RH. I am at the 3rd week of Flowering and I'm struggling to keep my RH down. Today it was 90% when I opened the grow box. I have access only to a window. Is it better to suck air inside or blow the exhausted air out? I can't do both

High RH in flower
I find it really hard to keep the RH below 50%, especially at night when temps are low. I have a dehumidifier in the room where my tent is in but even when it's below 50% there, it still is above 50% in the tent itself. Can somebody explain this? Probably help me with a solution

Temp fluctuates
With the Heater I have(analog setting) fluctuates (needs to drop 6 degrees) before kicking on. So my Lights off temp fluctuates from 67F lowest(about 5min) to peak 74F(<5min) maintaining an average of 70F lights off. Is this too much of a swing?

Help with airflow. I've got an extractor and 3 circulating fans. Would a powerful inline fan be better than the 3 circulating fans
Question about environment here. I've got a 5x5 tent. Total 46m area. 460m3/hr needed to be extracted. Extractor fan is capable of taking 600m3/hr. I did have in an inline fan but it's no longer working. Do I need another inline fan ?? I've opened two ports for passive intake

New Light? Find a way to raise light? More Fans? Combination? (Light: 44" above ground level | Tent Height: 63" Day avg: 78.6f) Should i worry?
What do you guys recommend as far as lighting for this tent? I have a 300w led light but at the height it's currently at it is producing a large amount of heat with my exhaust and two oscillating fans? I also have other plants in with my seedling so could the humidity cause it?
