How long should I leave my air pump on?

Depends on your setup. What are you running? With my rdwc system I keep the air pump on 24h. The more oxygen in the water the less chance for root rot.

Hello. Its good to saturate your water with oxygen once a day first thing in the morning. I would leave it on for 15 to 30 minutes. Chuck.

Humidity spike?Hi there,
I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine (40-50%) for 70% of the day, but the remaining 30% of the day it spikes up to 60-65%.
Temps stay reasonable in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day.

I got a dehumidifier to regulate and keep the humidity in 50%.
When i opend the deposit of the water of the dehumifier i found these little flies that are the classic Substrate fly (nasty but no harm).

condensation issueI have terrible condensation in my tent. My tent is only small 60cm deep 120 wide 150 tall, I have a 6inch desk fan for circulation and a humidifier. ventilation for a 4x8 ? basically is that too much negative pressure and if so should I get anther intake ?currently using a 200mm inline exhaust fan that has 914 m3/h(537,9 cfm) max currently using it at its medium setting of 792 m3/h(466,15 cfm) and using a 125 mm inline intake fan with only 330 m3/h (194,23 cfm). Best way to keep a tent in the loft coolCooling the loft... so I've got my tent in the loft, I have a 4" inline extracting from the tent and a 6" inline feeding air into the loft.
