Should I use silica , hydrogaurd, and great white together in my nutrients solution when doing the initial set up ? Or in other words the first week of seedling being placed in the hydroton ? Im planning on using general hydroponics flora trio starting the second week.

I would avoid silica for the first couple weeks. Your seedling will not appreciate more than 200 ppm or RH under 60%. Don't plant it too deep.

Hello community! I broke 2 branches this week. The first one happened by accident when I was draining the runoff, and the other when I was bending it.And today I came across a video where the author explains that silica can cause brittleness of branches. Does anyone have experience with silica and have you experienced anything like this? I add potassium silicate with each watering, at a concentration of 15ppm

Very abnormal EC Runoff for CoCo Coir - please help on what I should do. I am scared to increase nutes in case I get nute burn My EC going in is just under 2,000 (The maximum it should be much later in flower according to online) but comes out much lower and is getting lower each (735,467,368 respectively). First time testing PPM and slightly panicked :c Runoff was at 2200PPM. I flushed her with 5L of pH 5.8 water. I got the runoff to 1000PPM where I left it. The pH was at 7 though and was higher than before the flush. Why is that? I always pH before watering. Also, is the flush going to cause trouble for her? I kind of panicked.
