Should I use silica , hydrogaurd, and great white together in my nutrients solution when doing the initial set up ? Or in other words the first week of seedling being placed in the hydroton ? Im planning on using general hydroponics flora trio starting the second week.

I would avoid silica for the first couple weeks. Your seedling will not appreciate more than 200 ppm or RH under 60%. Don't plant it too deep.

PPMs are running high during germination My PPMs are reading 600 in the DWC reservoir, which seems high. Tap water reads 380 normally. Doing a top feed system so the roots will reach the top feed tube in about 2 days if they germinate. Should I do a complete res change or just top up with pH'd RO/distilled water?

Are these pH pens reliable?This pH pen sucks ass! I've purchased calibration liquid at 7.0 and have done calibration for both pens, and prepared another 4.0 solution. one reads 3,8 the other one reads 4,3. My range is already 5.5 - 6.1 = 0.6. How am I supposed to deal with this?😡

Will nutes degrade if left in the sun for a week?Nutes- If I mix up a gallon batch (fox farm grow big and big bloom) but only use half of that gallon, can I save the rest for the next feeding, which might be a week later? Also, is it ok if the jug is left outside where it will get sun, or will this ruin the nutrients?

Flower N-P-K Is there a good "rule of thumb" N-P-K to start with for flowering? I have a 4-6-3, 3-9-4, and 2-2-2 to mix for various N-P-K's. I'd like to get close to an ideal mix when I top dress in a few weeks. I know fertilizer needs will vary by strain, but I'm interested in a baseline.
