Brown spots on lower leaves - ph fluctuations?

NeoCat
NeoCatstarted grow question 3 years ago
I have discovered some brown spots on the lower leaves. I suspect it might be down to ph fluctuations - first time growing DWC so probably my bad! Does anyone agree? I should also add - I did a nutrient change a few days ago and for the first time added calmag & silicon

Hi mate, you're absolutely right. This is due to PH. It really depends on the kind of water you have used. Tap water ions react with nutrients and ph adjusters to raise or lower the ph. I started using deionised water for this reason and have seen great results because of it. Reverse osmosis water works too. You clearly know what you're doing so keep up the green work, good luck and happy growing

Thanks @sir_isO & @BraveheartGenetics, much appreciated! Will monitor the situation and reduce nutes if necessary. I've started looking into RO systems now 😳 This setup has cost me so much! Sure it'll be worth it though 😎

The calmag should help, particularly calcium. Other than that it seems like it's slightly overfed in terms of nitro.
