Extending Flowering Time?

Extending Flowering? Just curious as to how exactly if anyone has some experience in this field, going about extending the given flowering time? It's my first grow really and I'm going on 10 weeks, however she isn't looking quite up to par, she looks 2 weeks behind.

Your plant can't read what is written on the packet and will be ready when you think she is ready. Leaving it longer than what is written on the packet/web site is fine. Besides, the info on the packet is only a guide, usually derived at by using optimum and premium grow systems by experienced experts and are often quite fanciful when it comes to flowering times. There are also a vast amount of variables when growing, things like nutrition, temps, grower experience, and the biggie, lighting. Commercial growers use the best and strongest lights, which are a long way from someone who is using a cheap blurple light with minimal output. No need to worry, follow your intuition as to harvest timing and remember that the info from the breeders is only a rough estimate. Harvesting when the pistils/hairs are about 95-98% browned off will give you premium and well developed trichomes with peak THC levels. Waiting until all the pistils are brown will give you flowers with reduced THC, but with elevated CBD levels, which is fine if you prefer heavy sleepy effects, but if you prefer more of a mind trip, harvesting at 95-98% brown pistils will give you that sort of effect. Hope this helps,........... Organoman.

You are in week 10 of the seeds lifecycle but since you have switched to flowering it has been 5 weeks. With that being said you also take a week away for the transition to the flip so really you are on week 4. If the packet or guide was around week 10 of flowering you still have anywhere from 5-6 weeks left for peak potency. Hope this helps. The buds will fatten up for sure in this timeframe you’ll be surprised. Happy farming!!

If it's a feminised seed you had. Then they mean the flower window will take around 10 weeks , that's not including veg time . You still have a good few weeks left . Btw 10 weeks is based on optimal conditions so it could be a little longer in flower.
