Hey im about 3 weeks in flowering of my auto and wondering when and what i shouls defoliate.
My thought was to just slowly defoliate anything thats blocking lower budsites (mostly fan leaves) someone have any advice?
Thanks in advance!
(Just tucking rn)
You are correct. Take one or two here and there as needed. It will actually increase the trichome production a bit. Trichomes are the plants defense. Acts like a sunscreen and a taste deterrent if an animal is eating the plant. So plucking a leaf here and there daily will trick it into thinking an animal is nibbling on it so it kicks in a trichome boost. Be smart though. Don't overly stress her. Just a light daily stress and she will he covered in sugar
Hey, it's pretty late into flower to be defoliating, but I'd say 3 weeks is just within range. I'd just remove the big fan leaves covering bud sites, but other than that don't remove too much. Happy growing!
