Big up Farmers! Obrigado e bons cultivos!

What you are giving is about right, you want the water to go deep and also wide around the plant to encourage the roots to also grow deep and wide, as obviously roots will not grow in to dry soil. Giving just small amounts of water near the stem only encourages a weak and shallow root system. Think about what happens in nature when it rains, water goes everywhere, not just next to the plant and if there is good rains, the water gets down deep, and it is the same when growing in pots, water wide and deep. Also, in nature it will generally stop raining and there will be some time before the next rain, so it is with plants in pots, you must wait until the top 2-3cm is dry before watering again. Watering too often and having a constantly moist soil surface layer is what causes "damping off" and whereby the stem rots. Damping off is not caused by watering deep and wide. Just make sure the soil dries out a bit between waterings and you should have no problems. Once your plant becomes established and is growing vigorously, watering to run off, that is, water coming out of the bottom of the pot, will be necessary, as it is the only way to ensure the substrate is moist from top to bottom, as this is where your plants' roots will/should be. It will also help to prevent nutrient salts from the fertilizers building up to toxic levels in the substrate and burning your plant. Hope this helps, Organoman.

You won't need much, probably 200ml. Water around the plant in a circle and wait for it to dry inbetween watering. Your temps aren't that high and you have a high ish humidity so it will take a bit of time to dry inbetween watering. While they are small you don't want to over water as this can cause damping off.
