If you put a seed in that pot with a little bit of water and planted it 1/4-1/2 inch deep. It will come don't you worry. Best of luck on your grow.

While soaking and the towel/sponge methods can speed things along and let's a grower feel involved in the process, it does run the inherent risk of damaging your tap root. I've had them even begin to burrow in before catching them. Since they're already in the dirt I would just be patient. In the process of digging them up you could damage them if they're pushing a root but just haven't begun to push their way up yet.

I made some guides, one is called succesful germination you can look into but i give you a teaching here let the seeds soak overnight// or for afew hours into lukewarm water take the seeds out of water, put theem under// above ( into) a new moist Kitchensponge ( they keep humidity very long, without beeing to wet or to dry cover the sponges with the seed place them onto awarm place , chheck them daily that they are moisst but not wet a ffew days later you should see roots if rooots are 0,3-0,5 mm long or alittle longer, poke a1cm deep hole in your growmedium , take seed inside, dig the soil above give it a spray with water, for beeing moist , bit not wet. cover the seed with an " open Dome" Normally yyou should have from soaking up to showing up in 7-10 days a nice looking seedling
