How do I get rid of black fungus gnats?

How do you guys advise getting rid of fungus gnats? I saw a small black fly crawling through the soil. Should I be worried my plants are about a week old

Make sure you let your soil dry completely between waterings. Since your plant is smaller focus watering near or around the plant. I use diatomaceous earth and gently sift it around the plant. Another solution is to place some distilled vinegar in a bowl with a drop of dish soap to break surface tension. This works buts smells unpleasant. Sticky yellow traps do the trick as well. As long as your medium isn’t completely infested your plant should be fine.

No worries for the health of the plant, their just annoying by the end of flowering when they tend to get stuck on the sticky buds. You can use yellow sticky pads and add some sand, straws, or diatomaceous earth on top of the soil to refrain the invasion.

Sticky traps and green apple dish soap in a bowl of water. Little buggers love the taste of green apple and die in the bubbles. Empty the bowl once every couple days. Killed hundreds with the water trap alone without sticky traps.

You need to add a little dry soil to top. Add yellow sticky traps. And I companion grow basil near (never touching) my plants which helps greatly with all sorts of flying insects.

Hi there, you can get off them by covering the top half inch of the soil with sand.Fungus gnat can't crawl in sand and put yellow sticky tape around the pot for additional protection.Always make sure top soil to be dried about an inch to two before each watering.Happy growing... ✌️

First Grow 4 weeks into Veg - Let my humidity get too high for 1 night. Need help with mold/septoria/?Last 3 days I've pruned diseased leaves every morning, foliar sprayed peroxide leaves & topsoil, & added some to watering solution. Is only affecting one plant in tent. Humidity no longer issue (was waiting 4 inline fan). If I keep pulling off leaves it's going to die anyway.

White flyes problemFor now they aim to the veins underside of the biggest fan leaves. I tryed an oil based spray but i feel it was to light.
