Harvest time

Personally, I like to harvest when there are 90-95% brown pistils, as this is when the trichomes contain peak THC levels.

Turn fans off and zoom hard with your cam. Milky / Amber = get chopping. Glassy / Milky / no amber - another week. Then again I like weed that gives 20 minutes of Dantes Inferno like hell and panic attacks when I smoke a joint so first amber trich is ready in my book 🤣

They will look like a mushroom. Either clear, milky, or amber colored.

Just search online. There are many websites and photos that show how trichomes look at different stages. But it's basically clear, milky or amber. When you harvest is up to you and the strain you are growing. Harvesting earlier when most trichomes are milky will provide a more uplifting (high) experience but if you wait and let more turn amber you will get a more relaxing (stoned) affect. Keep in mind that each strain is different so there is no absolute right or wrong answer.
