Need rapid rooter germination help.

Started 5 seeds pointy side up in rapid rooters outside 5 days ago and still none have sprouted above the pods. Outside temps high 90F low 75F. Peeked inside and can see 1 seeds taproot so it might be upside down. Chance these are OK? Or should I give up and try new seeds inside?

I'm fairly convinced the heat outside killed these and here's why: 1) I repeated the "experiment" with 3 new seeds inside, and all three sprouted four days later. 2) I checked those that were still in the rooters from 12 days ago and they've made no progress at all, so I threw all the old seeds out and replaced them with new seeds. It seems the solution in this case is germinating these inside at a steady 70-75F temperature instead of outside where the temperature fluctuates 75F-90F.

Sometimes it has taken 7-8 days for the seed to pop, genetics of the plant have been strong just that the seed was dormant.

High Degen, Keep them on the right temperature. Around 75F is perfect because 90F is really to warm! And just make sure that they stay moist but not soaking wet. And do not plant them deeper then 1cm. 0.5 cm is even better as long as you keep the top layer moist. Happy Growing! 😋

Just gotta say lol to @eggyjones comment. Doesn't matter which way you put the seed really. The way you have done it will make sure the shell comes off. Keep them in a warm dark place, with a decent RH.

Don't stress which way up you plant. Keep them warm moist and dark, like grumpy grannies bum crack. Cheers
