this normal late flower leaf colour change?

Sunlacking
Sunlackingstarted grow question 3 years ago
the last four days or so the leaves are turning colour as seen in picture. i am working on the assumption that as the flowers do there last bit of growth the plant is starting to eat itself and that this is part of the normal process. only second grow so looking for opinions.

Hi! If you're currently flushing your plants and getting them ready for the chop, this is totally normal. once the plant runs out of nutrients to eat, it eats those stored within its own system, and once it starts running out it can no longer create more chlorophyll. This lack of chlorophyll causes the discoloration/loss of green color, all this means is you're successfully flushing your plants' system and you'll have a nice clean smoke. Hope this helps! Enjoy!

Ahh you are still in the cotton ball stage—- way too early for this. Could be one or 2 of these things: up the cal mag—- as the led lights cause the plant to bleach out on the upper leaves and have a deficiency. And/or it could be the heat from the light being too close. They should have yellowing like this on week 9! Ans mine don’t even fade yello…. Good luck ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

this could be lightburn. notice how the upper part of the plant is affected. your led looks like it is way too close... but also yellowing after week 4 or so happens all the time.. very hard to keep them 100% happy after that, especially in soil.. could also be related to too much calcium in your tap water, thus lockout of NPK , (accumulation of CA) but could also be phosphorus deficiency related I think. idk how much youre feeding... i wouldn'T just feed the hell out of them now...cause the low part of the plant looks healthy. basically, looks pretty normal for this stage. if anything probably lightburn. it is impossible to assume something else, cause you did not mention your feeding schedule.. is it DWC?

Not to go completely against what everyone else is saying- but I’m going to be honest. If your diary is correct and you are only 4 weeks into flower, I fell this is to early to be “ end of life” yellowing. More so these are your peak weeks for bud development and she might just be hungry and would prefer a heavier feeding. Checking your trichomes should be saved for closer to harvest
