Flowering tips

I think my plants are starting to flower or they will soon. Pistils visible on main stem and all side branches. This is an auto strain, so technically I can keep the lights on 18/6 schedule. Is that a good idea or should I stick with traditional 12/12? Any comments welcome.

Keep your lights on your current 18/6 schedule. Your plants will want to soak in the light. More light, bigger buds. But rest is also important- so no pushing them 24/0 or 20/4. With the amount of pistols you are seeing I’d say they are officially in flower, just the beginning. Enjoy the ride 🌱

Uhh I’d keep it right around there.. maybe drop it to 45-40. you could push it closer to 30cm but you’d be losing the intensity on the edges of the tent the closer you go, so I wouldn’t go that close

Thank you. What about the right lamp height? It's currently at 50cm from plant tops, is that okay or would it be better if it was closer? Using marshydro ts1000, 150w led.

Agree with Boston girl.. ruderalis genes will allow flower under 18/6 just fine, and arguably better than if you went 12/12. You’ll find 90% of ppl flowering autos in 16+ hours of daily light
