Ensuring nutrient solution isn't too strong for coco

Is there a way I can make sure my nutrient solution isn't too strong while I save for an EC meter? Should I just go off CANNA's chart and use the lower values? If anybody could point me in the right direction or show me a good canna coco chart that has worked for them, please do!

Aim for the lowest figure on the guide and maybe even take a couple of mil per L off as well. I never go anywhere near the recommended strength. Hopefully you have a ph meter as that needs to be pretty exact although I find 2ml ph down per 10L gets my ph to around 5.8 ish. Keep a eye for tip burn on the leaf to let you know if you have used a little more feed than the plants want.

Yeah! Get an EC meter for Sure! You will need it to see if you need more or less food in the cycle! All feed charts are just guidelines—- phenos, ph, medium, EC all play a factor! Start where you want and test PH, EC, runoff PH—- that tells the story of where your feed is and where it needs to be! Check out the guys at Athena.ag—- they have a very informative feed info with coco and jungle boys ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

I believe cannas chart is a fairly good feeding schedule to follow. They are not inflated high like a lot of other nutrient companies do in their feeding charts. If I were you I would stick with cannas chart and go on their low end range until you have an EC meter available. You should be safe.
