Going to 14/10 or 15/9 can help to finish plants that keep re-flowering (fox tailing), especially Sativas, during the last 2-3 weeks, but going to 14/10 mid flower will just slow maturation and possibly lead to smaller flowers too. 14/10 should really only be used when the flowers have stopped growing, but are hesitant to mature.
30 degrees is not too high, just remove your humidifier if using one, your plants don't need it, and if you are not using a humidifier, make sure your air circulation and air replacement are at their highest possible level. Changing your light schedule so that your dark/lights off period is during the hottest part of the day is also another way to keep the temps in your grow space down, but unless you are experiencing multiple days with 35+, your plants will cope just fine with any temps up to 32, just ensure you are giving them enough water and reducing/skipping your feeding when you know it is going to be extremely hot. If you are keen to change your lighting schedule, give them an extra long day rather than an extra long night, when shifting the "lights off" time.
Growing outdoors where I am, temps of 40+ during flowering for 2-5 days in a row and multiple times is not uncommon, even these extreme temps do not upset them too much, but they do need watering twice a day. Hot and dry conditions are best for trichome production anyhow, mild and moist is not as good.
Hope this helps, Organoman.
