Hi—- this is probably one of the most important pieces of equipment you can buy—- just as important as your light! I used to buy bluelab—- but that’s an expensive meter only to have to pitch it in a few years because the probe went bad. I recently switched to the HannaHydro Groline. It’s not cheap 0 for EC and ph. HOWEVER, the probe is replaceable! This is huge! That’s the main part of a meter that goes bad and you can simple buy a new part and replace it! Plus it’s super easy to calibrate with one solution! Been there done that—- get the Hanna hydro! Saves time and money! Cannot stress this enough!✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Bluelab is a lil pricey but it's the best. A good cheap one is Apera Instruments AI209. It's on Amazon

I had issues with the cheap ones as well over time.. I went with one called Dr Meter that’s like on Amazon and has a few more features and has been quite consistent. With most, you just need to keep them calibrated every couple of weeks and make sure you do the 6.86 calibration as well as the 4 and 9 calibration. If you have the $ to spend bluelab’s products are probably as good as it gets

Bluelab are really good, previously to that I used a Essentials ph meter not as expensive as Bluelab but it was reliable and lasted me ages I only replaced it with Bluelab because I trod on it by accident 🙄 🙏
