Bad genetics and not enough light intensity.
Personally I can't see any bud rot in the picture you posted.

Hey man, sorry to break it to you, but that looks like botrytis to me—- aka bud rot. The pics are not the greatest, but does dust come off when you touch it? Mold spores?

New pistols forming on all buds just after starting flushI'm noticing new pistols being formed all over - top buds, lower buds. New growth is fantastic but I started flushing yesterday, ready to harvest for the end of the week.
Is it usual behaviour for the plant to be forming new pistols so late in flower?

What's going on here?Some buds on both strains are showing this look. It isn't widespread but is on 3 of 5 plants. Close to harvest and isn't a major deal but do want to know for future grows. My grow looks good. I will update my diary this weekend. We have to keep those buds looking good.

Early Amber TrikesMystery strain, pretty sure its Strawberry Cookies https://supersativaseedclub.com/cannabis-seeds/strawberry-cookies.html#/26-seeds-3_feminized_seeds Hairs are still yellow but trichomes are mostly opaque with 5-10% amber. Harvest now or will buds still swell/ripen?

When to start the bloom additives?Thanks for your help. Should I begin to give bloom fertilizer now. Since I added some worm casings to my soil every time I add nitrogen base it causes her to suffer. I believe I gave to much to nitrogen this way. Water and cal/mag she loves.Week 5

To harvest or not to harvest that is the question??To harvest or not to harvest that is the question? If I was going by orange hairs I would say yes, but the trichomes are still building and I’m not seeing tons of amber.. please let me know what you think!!

Main versus secondary maturingThis secondary lower buds seem to be maturing faster than the main colas. The pistils are turning dark faster on the lower than the upper. Not by much, but it's noticeable. Maybe a week or so? BUT, should I take the secondary buds first and leave the main colas to mature more?

Calyx and trichome developmentSo just a general question I guess. Anybody ever had just the lower calyxes on your flowers swell and form more trichome where as the top half of the bud that receives the most light doesn't? I think it has a lot to due with sub tropical heat and humidity

I’ve been looking at some other grows to compare and I’ve not seen it on anyone else's plants.
