The most important thing for you to do is to inspect every bud every day... and while this may seem a daunting task if your plant is large, it's necessary. The spores get in everywhere and you're pretty much guaranteed you'll find more... I lost my entire summer harvest to this nasty shit even though I did everything I could possibly do - when I found a bit of bud rot, I cut it out (or cut the entire bud) with sterilized clippers and sterilized hands, then sprayed with 1% H2O2 to kill the fungus spores, and kept checking every bud every day - and every day I would find more... I was trying to keep the grow going to get at least a BIT of a harvest - but finally decided the rot was spreading SO fast I needed to chop - so I chopped and found more rot as I was wet trimming that hadn't even begun to show externally... ended up with a poor harvest in terms of oz and in terms of quality - since I had to chop early, it all smells and tastes like grass... and it's all in the bin now. Wasted time, wasted energy... Bud rot is nasty NASTY stuff...
I hope you have a better outcome - but my advise is to not get your hopes up - just do what you need to do and be vigilant....
Good luck...
