Long Root coming out of the pot

What should I do with a flying root? It came out of the air pot catching the water of the plate. Should I cut it? The plant is at 5 week of flowering

Hey there, I agree with @ChitownCannaChica …. I noticed that the “wtf are those” picture appears to be springtails. Springtails are beneficial detritivores that rapidly decompose organic matter and cycle nutrients. But keep in mind if there is an abundance in a small container that can indicate overwatering but no need to get rid of them as they will eat whatever nutrients your plant cannot and then digest it into something that the plant can actually use. They are exclusively used in terrariums to keep the enviroment clean and I have tons in my no till beds that decompose everthing that my worms cannot. I hope this helps!

If you’re in week 5 - no need to cause any undue stress. If it’s not causing you issues, no need to address it. It will die off if it’s getting too much air and not enough water.

It looks like the taproot, but since you have an established root system the taproot is no longer needed.
