Man, I could take any plant out of any stage of growth in my tents/flower room and stick it outside on a gorgeous 80 degree day and they will react the same way - perk up and look like a million bucks.. its just the way it is, nothing beats true rays from the sun and the true environment they know and love.
If mildew/mold is common in your area i'd be doing some defoliation and making sure plenty of air can move around the canopy and buds.. theres natural fungicides you can use during flowering to deter that as well.
