This has been growing now for 20weeks. When the seed was planted days were getting longer but still under 13hrs of daylight. Days are now getting short but still 12.5hrs daylight.. I thought landraces grow on age and not necessarily photo periodic in natural environment?
I thought to know that only the true equatorial sativa landraces flower on age. So it might be that a true thai sativa still depens a bit on hours of light anyways. I believe an ontouched 100% "Atjeh" could be like age depending. Being there on the equator. Or maybe south american brasilian strains aswell but im not really updated on those;)
It will drop below 12hrs end of Sept... so flowering will begin then? That is crazy as this strain supposedly takes up to 16 weeks to finish flower 😵..
What Boston said - if it's a landrace it's definitely a photoperiod and as soon as it hits critical PFR level, ~12ish hours of darkness depending, it'll start to flower. Best of luck on weather the rest of your grow season!
‘landrace ‘only describes the strain’s genetic purity- meaning it has not been crossbreed with any other varieties. It does not dictate the timeline in which the plant completes flowering 🌱
