Ok! So my seeds just started pop in their jiffy pe...

@ChitownCannaChica I appreciate your advice! Im learning alot! Ive never heard of root riot but I'm getting different mediums for this next batch of seeds that are coming! You're absolutely right about jiffy pellets have too much water. Im sure its what killed off my seedlings

Not sure—- jiffy pellets have too much water. Root riots or rock wool and you can transfer in a week.

@Aquemini thank you for your advice! The rapid rooter is what I need! The jiffy pellets are drowning in water I think🤔 Do you know much about jiffy pellets?

@ezzjaygrows thank you for responding! Is rockwool optimal to use in a dwc? I think the next seeds I get will go into rockwool bc the jiffy pellets soak ALOT OF WATER! Thats what I mean by drowning them. I think that's what killed my seedlings 😭 I also think I didn't have enough hydroton in my net pot too.

This really isn’t the optimal starter plug for DWC.. I’m you can get it to work tho. If you’re gonna try it in those peat pellets, I wait til whatever I’m using (rockwool) has roots protruding from it so that it won’t be long until the roots can hit the DWC water. I’m not sure I know what you mean by keep them from drowning but you wanna fill up that net cup... you want the water near the bottom of the net cup at first so the roots can find it.. after you have substantial roots, you can let that water level go down a bit
