I grew gelato fast flower last run. All my runs of any photo period plants are just as fast or faster than most auto runs., and the gelato fast flower never really outperformed any photo period plants I have grown.I never seen any difference from fast flower to photo period on indoor grows. But the fast flower outdoors has definitely started flowering faster than most photo period plants I grow. My super skunks are just starting now. The fast flowers started a couple weeks ago. But I have bag seeds I grew as well. Platinum o OG. Not a fast flower but this started budding in the middle of july and is almost done. No hermies from the bag seeds I planted but man., best plant I have ever grown outdoors. It is ready in a week or 2 I figure, while the fast flower still have another month and a half to flower. Autos start in 4 to 5 weeks. I can have any plant ready to bud in 4 to 5 weeks. So, I don't know why anyone grows autos that need an extra 6 hours of light every day to grow them out. To spend that much extra cash on electricity to me., makes no sense.... Cheers

Hi, they can be if you flip them in 3/4 weeks! So 12 weeks total—- or 90 days which is the average auto time.

Depends on how long you plan on vegging the photoperiod or if your going 12/12 from seed. Autos usually take me about 14 weeks. That’s with 8 weeks of flower. These new fast flowering photos take Closer to 6 weeks to flower. So it could be done quicker- but you’d still have a lower yielding plant. Genetics and environment play bc a big role too. 🌱
