A/C control when system reaches set temp

How do I keep my A/C system running inside when system reaches set temperature? I’ve got my plants in an attic space with two A/C ducts connected, but noticed unit shutting off when set temperature is reached. This causes air flow to cease inside causing temps to rise.

Set the thermostat to its lowest temperature. You'll get max output from the AC unit. Can't make it run harder than that. Good luck. Hope that helped ya.

It depends on your AC unit - some auto shut off all function when temp is reached, some have independent fans. It appears your fans are not independant so you will need to get a couple from the store. Does your unit auto come on when it goes above or below the set temp by a few degrees? If so, calculate what temp your room goes to when the unit cuts off and decrease your set point by that much (unless that is too cold). Also, do you have extraction? That will help stabilise your temps and rh%

Yeah don’t rely on the A/C to provide the air flow.

Airflow doesnt cool the air. The A/C itself does. I would recommend some regular fans in there if you dont already have. The A/C will only kick on as needed.
