Hello! Based on my little experience, trichomes have 3 types of colors: clear, white, and amber. If they are clear, this indicates that the plant is not yet mature; if we cut it at this stage, we will have a plant with no effects since the cannabinoids have not developed. The white or milky ones indicate that the resin is starting to mature. The effects of a plant with mostly milky trichomes will have a more “High,” euphoric, and energizing effect, and finally, the amber color is the total maturity state of the trichomes. The “Stone” effect of its resin will be more narcotic, relaxing, and can even be sedative. The most recommended is always to harvest when all the trichomes are white and some amber ones start to appear; this will give us a more balanced effect, but it will all depend on your taste and what you are looking for with your herb. I hope this helps you, good luck 💪, good smokes 👌🙌!
