More sugar leaves than pistils!

My GDP plants are growing more sugar leaves than pistils... Coming up to week 4 of flower and very few pistils compared to the 2 cheese plants I have which easily have double the amount of pistils... What might be the problem?

Yes i see what you mean they do look like the ratio is uneven. The blue monkey plant I'm growing has that style, many hard little nuggets versus a few big colas. She looks healthy as can be and that's the most important thing. I think these budlettes will beef up over the next several weeks. This plant may turn out to have very strong weed but a lower yield. Just keep up the t.l.c and she may surprise you in the end. I usually notice the most bulking in the later weeks of flowering. 👍

Strain dependant. So different strains will grow differently. I prefer strains that dont grow too many sugar leaves as these strains need a lot of work when trimming. These strains can still be bangers thiough so dont throw the whole thing away. Its just about the way that strain grows. Who knows at the end of the day the buds might get so thick they cover most of the sugar leaves. Try and thin the plants a bit more so that they dont grow too many pop corn buds. Happy growing.
