What can I do to encourage a side stem to grow to the same size/thickness of the main stem? I have tied the top down and tied a stem out a bit to get the light but not sure if I'm doing something wrong that's stopping it from looking like it should, thank you for any help! 😊😊

I would suggest you try to get the top as horizontal as possible to allow max light penetration but stop training just before stretch, let them go wild so they dont slow down from being stressed and then tighten the LST up after stretch before the stems get too woody in flower if you still need to make some adjustments.

Topping will make the side stems grow like main stems, topping 2-3x should get you a nice even canopy with 6 main colas

What your doing looks fine. The side branches won't get as thick as the main unless you topped the plant.

Hey bro ! Lindo trabajo ... En mi opinión personal le ataría tambien los brotes y brazos más pequeños ! De seguro tendrá un resultado de un 20% adicional como mínimo ! Saludossss
