When I start LST how long should I keep the plant tied down vs. lettin her get some stretch in?

When I tie down, It usually stays until the last week before harvest... they will still stretch...

How far into flower is it okay to bend (LST)? Am I there yet?I see a couple little flower hairs coming in on the cheese plant. I've read that you are not supposed to train auto-flowers very far into flower, but I was hoping to get one or more bends in over the next week. Anybody have any thoughts?

Nutrient comparison experiment; to LST or not to LSTShould I do any Low-Stress Training, which I normally do, since it throws another variable in the experiment? How to save a broken branch?I shook the pot's stand, and 1 wire dropped to the ground and broke a branch. It looks nice and if prop up it - can't even see the breakpoint.
What should I do to increase the chances that the branch will grow back?

LST clipsAm I using these clips right?
The branches are aiming downwards and literally laying on the clay balls. I did try to bend the clips out a bit so they're not bending at such a sharp angle but they've gone back to shape. Is this going to damage or stress her too much?
