My first dos si do plant. Curious what you think about ripeness. She is about 7 weeks flowering. The trics on the top bud site sugar leaves are mostly amber but Only few pistals have turned (30%)

I cannot give any advice on this one as I have not grown it, but my plants are behaving the same way - only about 60% pistils are curled but trichomes are already turning amber. I read you should always follow what trichomes show, pistils depend on genetics and light. Light stress can make your plants produce more pistils or additional buds on the top of existing ones, which can be misleading. Also check the lower buds - if they are ready, the whole plant is ready.

How to Trigger30 years ago I grew a lot under HPS and have just recently gotten back into it. One thing we always did was to turn off the lights for a 24 hour period to supposedly trigger the plants faster. I learned this from the person who taught me how to grow.
